Her role as Lara Croft in two “Tomb Raider” films enforced her pin-up stature - she was the ultimate choice of many an avid video gamer as the human version of the pixelated Lara.

Just when it appeared that she had reached the peak of the super-stardom mountain, she became romantically involved with Brad Pitt, and they in turn became “Brangelina” - the highest profile Hollywood couple ever to walk this planet.

Andy Warhol is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of American “pop art”, which draws on themes from popular mass culture, such as comic books, advertising, and everyday objects - a Campbell’s Soup Can for example!

Some of Warhol’s more experimental works were his “oxidisation paintings”. These were paintings made with special copper paint that changed colour when it came into contact with urine. While some people marvelled over these images, they are certainly not everybody’s cup of wee tea.

Warhol also gave his pop art treatment to many celebrity portraits, including Marilyn Monroe and Che Guvara. We’re sure he would have approved of his own motifo makeover.

Robbie Williams first found fame in the British boy band Take That early in the ’90s. On leaving the band in 1995, many thought Robbie would slip away into obscurity… but far from it. He went on to prove his doubters wrong by releasing his debut album “Life thru a Lens”, packed with tracks such as “Let Me Entertain You”, “Old Before I Die” and the karaoke classic “Angels”.

More killer albums followed, and Robbie’s following grew and grew. In 2006 he made his mark in The Guinness Book of World Records when he sold more than 1.6 million tickets for his world tour in just one day. That’s more than 18 tickets per second for those of you with a stopwatch.
