Ask anyone to name their favourite martial arts movie star and they’ll probably say Bruce Lee. “Fists of Fury”, “Way of the Dragon” and especially “Enter The Dragon” helped to kick-start the martial arts phenomena in main-stream cinema.
Lee is also famous for his impressive levels of speed, fitness and endurance. He reportedly could do push ups on his thumbs, make indentations in pine wood with his fingers, and he could throw grains of rice into the air and catch them mid-flight with chopsticks. His fighting moves were sometimes too fast to be captured on film at the normal rate of 24 frames per second - so many of his scenes had to be shot at 32 frames per second.
